COVID-19: Public Health Emergency Declaration

FEDERAL

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has extended the COVID-19 public health emergency declaration for another 90 days effective January 14, 2022, setting the expiration date to April 14, 2022.

HHS initially declared the Corona Virus a public health emergency on January 31, 2020. It has been extended since that time.

NEW YORK STATE

New York States’s COVID-19 State Disaster Emergency expired on June 24. 2021 The state’s emergency was initially declared on March 6, 2021.
