Volunteerism and donation have been the response for the need created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Below are a few ways to volunteer and donate.
The City of New York launched Help Now, a one-stop shop for New Yorkers to give and get help during the COVID-19 outbreak. Individuals can find:
- Opportunities for healthcare workers through the Medical Reserve Corps and non-healthcare workers through the Volunteer Coordination Task Force.
- Donation opportunities, including how to donate critical medical supplies and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the City of New York.
Businesses can also find opportunities to partner with the City of New York in its COVID-19 response. Individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations seeking help can find COVID-19-related assistance, including benefits, grants, and loans, on Help Now.
