NYS Summer EBT

Applying for Summer EBT

Summary

The NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) has identified children who will automatically receive Summer EBT benefits without submitting an application. See above, Qualifying for Summer EBT.

An application for Summer EBT will be required for those children not automatically eligible, attending a school that participates in the NSLP and whose household income is below 185% FPL.

An application can be submitted online or by printing and mailing a paper application. The application must list all children and members that live in the dwelling along with income information and contact details.
